Wrapping up Season 1 of Succession and I feel us reaching greater heights with this show as we finally end this dreadful wedding. Many things happened...but I'm just happy Tom & Greg are absolute homies.

I'll be taking a week break before jumping into Season 2! See ya there!

I love that you like Tom so much lol He is a fandom favorite. Greg too. They have a quality to them that the others characters dont have and I believe its because they didnt grew up with unlimited money and had loving parents (Greg is always on the phone with his mom and Tom speaks affectionately of his parents). Greg is part of the Roy family but his granpa didnt spoil his side so much like Logan did. Tom came from an upper middle class family from the midwest (he went to an Ivy League college and his mother is a highly respected lawyer). They were both comfortable but not obscenely wealthy. Tom clearly likes the power and the luxury that comes with it, tho. Hence why he puts up with Shiv and the whole Roy family toxic behavior.

I mean, Kendall deserves the guilt he feels, he should have called for help, even if the waiter still died anyway. Yeah, the media would eat him alive. Drug addict billionaire playboy gets in a car accident that kills a poor waiter, while driving to buy drugs?! It would be big news for sure, he would never be CEO. But he would at least have dealt with the situation in a way that could alleviate his conscience. But no, he is too selfish and never in his life had to face consequences for his actions. The last scene, Kendall breaking down on Logans embrace, it gave me chills. Logan owns him now.
