Getting right into the mix with Season 2 of Mr. Robot! I'm so hyped and excited to dive back into this world. The atmosphere, the music, characters, and themes are so damn entertaining to think over and watch unfold. Let's get right into it!

Now that we are in season 2 and every episode from here on out is directed by Sam, I think the show feels more confident in itself and everything it sets out to do. I’m hyped you’re familiar with Joey Bada$$ 😂 I was just as excited to see him and I won’t lie I absolutely love him in this show. Craig Ferguson is another welcome surprise. I only ever usually see him in comedic roles so it’s interesting how they utilized him for this one “All the women in this show are awesome” that’s what I’m saying man! And you haven’t seen anything yet 😂 And I’m glad you’re enjoying the pacing of this season! The breaking bad vs better call Saul comparison seems apt. Some people say they don’t like season 2 because parts of it feel too slow to them but I love that the show is taking the time to let the characters journey inward and reflect on their actions and grow mentally and emotionally. It’s not just a story about a big computer hack it’s a story about the characters that do the hack, particularly Elliot. To me the way it’s highlighting Elliot’s struggle dealing with Mr Robot is brilliant and creative and fun Also I enjoy the shows use of computer glitches or visual bugs to show us Elliot’s downward mental spiral on adderall. Very fitting of the whole hacking/computer theme of the show Damn man there are so many episodes that I’m so excited to get to because they are truly mind blowing and unique but at the same time I wanna savor every moment of this journey 🙏 it’s gonna be a fun ride

It’s wild how many times they’ve said Darlene and you still call her Marlene

The piece of music at the beginning of E4 is called Neptune, The Mystic and is part of Gustav Holst's "The Planets" suite from 1914-1917. It blew my mind hearing it when this episode aired. I love Holst and I love Mr. Robot. Esmail used the entire piece in this opening. So cool.
