I thought I was almost done with this mod since I didn't want to overwrite the interactions... but then I discovered how to use a script to organize the interactions differently without rewriting them! Hooray! Now I present to you the next generation of Better Pie Menu! As this is my first time using a script in this mod, I am changing the version numbering to 2.0.

Update Notes Version 2.0.1

After a message that there were obviously some compatibility issues, I reworked the mod a bit so I can hope that the problem is solved. Among other things I made some changes in the computer menu. Please re-download the file and tell if the problem is solved. As a little bonus, I've added a new category "Dance" to all stereo devices, where all dancing interactions (via script) are now grouped together. 

I also removed the snippet that reorganizes the interactions from the core. If errors occur, first try to run the core mod without addons and without a reorganization snippet. Maybe there are some problems with compatibility with some users.

The following changes have been made:

• Using the script, many computer interactions have been reclassified between different existing categories.
• Interactions with the mirror and dresser have been sorted into different categories.
• Interactions with the bookshelf have been sorted into buying and reading categories.

Main Mod Description

This mod creates a better overview in the pie menu structure for some objects in the game, e.g. Sim, Computer, TV, Stereo, Mirror etc... The main goal is to make the search faster with suitable icons. In addition, the priority of unimportant folders has been decreased and the priority of the important folder has been increased instead. A few new overcategories were also created on the computer and the sub-folders reorganized.

This mod only overwrites the so-called Pie Menu Category Tuning of some menu categories. Not a single interaction tuning was overwritten! The restructuring is done via a script, so you need to allow scripting in your game settings. Conflicts can only arise with the same mods that also modify the category tuning of the pie menu or also arrange interactions differently through scripts.

Additional Extensions

There are some add-ons available for better integration with other mods. Please only install these add-ons if you use the corresponding mods. If you don't use it, please delete the add-ons!

You only need the integration file with my Purchasing Overhaul Mod if you use this mod! The addon file should stay in the Better Pie Menu Mod folder! Please don't move it!

The two category hiders change the prioritization of the WhickedWhims and Basemental Drugs categories from 10 to 0 on all computers, so that they no longer appear right at the beginning, but are hidden under "More Choices".

If you don't have a deep subfolder in your main mod folder, all the hider addon files can stay in the Better Pie Menu folder. But if it has no effect, they must be moved directly to the appropriate mod folders, e.g. Move the WW hider to the WW folder.

Problems with this mod

FAQ: Since I got the mod, I can't do anything with the computer anymore. The menu has disappeared. If I click on the computer, then everything hangs and then nothing happens.

Answer: You did not follow the installation instructions correctly. This problem will surely arise if you don't have my Purchasing System Overhaul Mod, but you haven't deleted the integration file! Delete this add-on and everything will work as it should. The integration file must also remain in the BPM folder, so do not move it to the PSO folders!

Translations

The mod only uses ready-made strigs from the game, so no translations are necessary. The game is immediately available in all languages.

Download & Install

• Extract all files from the zip archive!
• Copy the *.package File into you Sims 4 Mods Folder!
• Path: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Please make sure to delete the old version of the mod!
• The use of scripts must be allowed in the game settings!
