Patreon & Sims Community (Patreon)

I'm back from vacation and back for you!  

I, too, have become aware of this awkward situation our amazing Sims 4 community has been dealing with over the past few days regarding the disclosure of sensitive patron personal information by some Patreon creators. Even if I'm just a small CC/Mod creator who is just at the beginning of his "career", I want to position myself very consciously and unequivocally. 

I will never collect, share or publish any of my patrons' personal information that is available to me (e.g. your email addresses or Discord usernames) in any form. This is disgusting in my opinion!

However, if you have concerns about your safety, please observe the following simple rules:

• Please do not use email addresses that contain your real name, date of birth or any other personal information on Patreon. 
• Also, please do not use your real name as a username or your real picture as a profile picture on Patreon.

The situation described arose because some CC/Mods creators doxed their Patreons if they re-uploaded their Early Access content before the end of the Early Access period. While the behavior of these patrons is disgusting, so disgusting is the behavior of the creators who seek revenge like this... How it all works is explained here. 

I am very grateful to all of you for supporting me and for slowly but surely growing my fan club. Now the number of supporters has passed the 50 mark. Yeah! However, I wouldn't take notice until there were more than 50 patrons left at the beginning of the next month (i.e. May 2022), as some patrons typically cancel their pledges at the end of a month, which is okay too.

In this way, I would also like to make some small changes in my tiers from May 2022, both in terms of benefits and prices. The new rules will be presented to you by the end of this week, so that you can decide whether and with which tiers you would like to support me from May 2022.
