Hello hello!  Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for : Guinevere

I've decided to explore these Arthurian Legend pieces in a way that is as self-indulgent as possible in terms of style and process!

Some of my best work comes when I am just doing a process that I love and not forcing myself to do overly complicated rendering, lighting, etc. If I feel inspired and it comes naturally, then great! But otherwise, after such a long stretch of client work and now finally getting to work on a project for myself, I want it to feel good, y'know! I want it to help reignight that burnt out spark!

I think it's important with art to be self indulgent sometimes. Study and pushing yourself to challenging things is awesome, but it has to be balanced with doing stuff that you LOVE and that makes you feel cozy. Otherwise, burnout is just around the corner!

Anyway, that's how this first portrait felt. THIS rendering style is one of my favorites to do. It has some loose messyness to it, lots of texture, and really let's the lineart shine!

EDIT: I forgot! I was going to include a sneak peek of the next Arthurian piece! Here's a little WIP!
