added compatibility with woohoo wellness to support pregnancy wish sentiments, surrogacy, paternity module and insemination markers


Hi Guys! the child birth mod is now officially in version V1b.

Note:  This mod does not work on legacy's Edition

 few issues were fixed in this update:

◾ Fixed an issue that caused the "call companion" option to not show up for sims who are getting a C-section

◾Fixed an issue that caused the labor buff to appear on companion sim, they should no longer get sympathy pain after this update 

◾Pregnant sim should be much less likely to keep getting on and off the exam bed repeatedly

◾Sims should now have better facial expressions during child birth

 New Feature In This Update

Added the dilation, epidural and give birth option to the exam bed as well as the surgery machine, this is especially helpful for people who are experiencing lagging when playing in a large hospital. clicking on the exam bed or surgery machine to initiate the interaction should significantly reduce the time the game takes to respond

Hi! When I click to see how dilated my sim is or ask for epidural the obstetrician then waves in error like they cant do it for what ever reason... i have the exam bed both cc and none. So its just a waiting game for me lol

I have the problem that I can not even find the file that mach should not unzip? That's why the mod does not work for me. What am I doing wrong?

heeeelp :( I downloaded the mod like any other and for nothing in the world does this work for me, I don't know what's going on I already tried everything T-T Will I have to have all the expansions or what? I thought it was only necessary go to work ;-;

How do I get a obstetrician to come to the hospital? There isn’t any there when I arrive with my sim

no you just need to call the obstetrician and choose a birthing method before your sim goes to the hospital and they will spawn at the hospital once your sim arrives

Every time I try to do the breathing exercise it just shows she can't do it is there a reason for this? Maybe something I'm doing wrong? Just curious :}

One person reported having the same issue and it was because she had an older version of the child birth mod in the mods folder. So double check to make sure you don’t have multiple copy of the mod

I have downloaded this updated version over and over again and the pregnancy test doesn't work. I also don't have any of the conflicting mods

I hope by most recent file you meant the v2c version because you are commenting on an old post, if you don’t see the menu with v2c installed you likely still have an bold version of the mod installed. Do a file search and get rid of the old files

Did the latest SIM 4 update break this? I no longer have "Call OB" even though that's always worked in the past. Now it's simply gone.
