Hello and hey there, one and all. It’s me, Spook2099, here to give some news and postings. Our long loyal fans will know that it’s a rarity for us to do posts where we address y’all directly as one of ourselves and not representing the team, as we save them for the more serious matters or when we’ve got something we’re excited about sharing on a personal level. Well this is one of those time. The former type, we mean. We’ve got couple of things to cover today, enough that we’re double posting, but first things first while we have your attentions. Let’s have a chat about how the Noemi update is coming along and why it’s still coming along. That’s why I’m here as myself, being the one taking care of our Philly and all the things in it.

The game is still in development, and progress has been up and down in recent weeks, that we can all tell. Well, it’s a bit more than that, as I’ve come to learn recently, and now I’m telling you on our behalf. At this point, pretty much everything in the game is ready to roll out aside from the art as our last few news posts’ news parts have delighted you with. That’s normal for us, just from the way we work and the amount that goes into making each render as visually great as they are and tell as much of a scene as they do. When it comes to Noe’s versions, we can often be through the engine side of things while the art is in production. What’s unlike us this last month+ is the relative slowness in getting this batch done, and today we know why that is.

---

If you’ll remember, back in January we posted our page goals, and with them we told you of Unshi’s difficulties in his living situation (halfway down, beneath the Noe/Nat image). In early February we had some brighter news to say we’d reached a temporary fix to the problem and on we went. Well, that temporary reprieve has expired in the last few weeks, and he’s been stuck with renewed housing trouble, unable to keep up on the rent in his current home. Obviously, this has been a real hamper to getting much in the way of CGs of quality put together and rendered up, in any great volume at least. Dealing with all the work that comes with finding a new place and making a move with your life have had his time all eaten up for him of late.

Things aren’t drastic, let’s say that now. It’s not a case of having no roof over his head at all, so we don’t want any dramatics like that injected into this issue. In fact, he’s got a new place to set up now. He’s moving clear across country to a new city where things are cheaper so he can find some stability again, with the aims that doing so will mean a better situation for himself but also for beWilder. With less overheads, we’ll need less support than we currently do to maintain ourselves (we’ve always been below this level our entire run and it’s time to set some easier expectations on ourselves for now) and can perhaps even tuck away some investment savings for better render hardware at last, if all things settle well in the coming months. We’re looking on the brighter side of things. A fresh perspective. A new lease and a new lease on the life ahead both.

---

I myself only learned of these details yesterday (Tuesday), and moving day is tomorrow (Thursday), so this is happening. I’m still processing it myself, so no doubt y’all will have some things to wonder about on your ends. Unshi’s busy with moving boxes so I’ll do my best to be the liaison with the fans as need be, but really it’s just a matter of logistics for a few days and then being as beWilder as we can and always have been once it’s all done. That’s the plan anyway.

So what does this mean for the game? Well, we’re still aiming to have Noemi soon: as we said, she’s mostly done aside from the art. Once Unshi is moved and settled, hopefully within a few days, we’ll be back to rendering and the amount we have left to get through may well be manageable in our Crunch Mode, we’ll have to see. Our aim is to get her done and shipped while still in August, but with 13 days on the clock including today, it’ll be a tough window, so we’ll see if that timeline can stick. We’ll keep you all posted via our posts and Discord, as always (Heads Up: This week’s planned backer teaser will be postponed). That means Agents of Heels next version will be the end of September at the earliest. We’ve already promised that was our main work for this month and Noemi is actually knocked on from July, but that doesn’t look like it’s a sustainable goal at this point. We’re already talking internally about what we can do about that and how we can make it right, discussions of pausing the page for a month to play catch-up have been had, but our fears are a month without income (this is our only income for the both of us here for those that don’t know) will only make the situation worse in the long run. We’ve decided for now we’ll give that more of a discussion after the move and before September, but for now it’s one ball in the air too many. Perhaps having you fans letting us know how we can make it up to you is a good idea before we come to any conclusions, your input is also important there we do believe.

Lastly, these changes to our plans obviously means that it’s not going to be possible to have a Brave release this month for Noemi either, and so we’re going to have to make a replacement, much like we did with the Bold fans last month. For this we are very sorry, because we know there’s nothing quite the same as time with Noemi, but we’ll do our best to make it up to you all. That’s the topic of our second post for today, so we’ll continue this discussion over there.

Alright, another big post of me running my mouth, since it’s my main skill and all. Here’s the short recap, TL; DR version then:

- Noemi’s current release has been hampered by personal life issues of our artist and his housing situation, which is why she’s still in development

- Unshi will be moving across country to a cheaper rent zone, so we can better manage the financials of running a small time, niche little indie team of Adult Developers.

- It’s happening this week, so our aims are to be through this transition period soon. Things have moved very fast here indeed.

- Our aim is to still complete Noemi’s v0.16 in August, but it will be a tight window. We’ll keep people posted via our posts, Discord and teasers. This week’s planned teaser will be postponed for obvious reasons.

- Agents of Heels next version, which was originally planned as August content will have to be September’s instead. How exactly we can make this up to fans we are still working on. Feedback/Ideas are appreciated in this regard.

- Noemi’s Brave release for this month is postponed until September also, for obvious reasons. Our second post for today is our first attempt in making that up to fans.

So that’s it. That’s our news. Straight from my yammering mouth to your ears. Like I said above, most of the specifics of our situation are as much a surprise to me as to you all, but what matters most is getting through the things we’ve already started, making sure Unshi is right at home when he’s done, and getting back to being the beWilder in motion we’ve always been before. While we do, I’ll be here to see we carry on regardless, and ensuring content for Noemi will keep on being put to paper every day so no worries there. I’ll leave you all to soak up the news, come to whatever decisions of your own you may need to make, and simply take a minute to really think on it. When you have, I’ll see you over on our other post for some more spirited fun in our style, because you can’t hold a good man down, let alone two of us! I’ll see you over there, but all the same…

Be striking out lucky and beWilder!

I am pledging for games, good games, and I have to wait at least 3 or 4 months (sometimes more) for an update of those games. Some of them ith very high incomes. You try to give us an update each month with very little delays. I don't see any problem for a delay of a month. IMO there's no reason to pausing the page. I will pay happy to do it, your games worth it.

what a big amount of bullshit

Well cheers for the sentiments, buddy. It's reassuring to hear some feedback. We know fans will hav a wide range of thoughts on this matter but knowing some are understanding does help. We know this platform is more aimed at being a support/donate type of affair rather than a purchasing market place, but we tend to see it as a matter of people supporting us for a month/set amount and so we want them to get something for their money each month. That's why we send out back owed links when delays happen. Perhaps that's being a bit hard on ourselves. It's something we'll keep in mind. Moreso though, just getting the game updated and released is our biggest concern right now, as a team that is, obvious Unshi's got stuff to be focusing on right now. Cheers again though.
