Do you think captain America civil war will be out before the end of the month?

This is very different but it's very good. Season 3 is the best. The show technically grew with the audience. So they knew by the time this show released their audience would be older so they made it more "mature". It's 75 years after the war. No avatars usually last very long we found out through the Kyoshi books when we learned about her avatar. Which is why anng isn't in this one. But he is shown within flashbacks etc. so are the rest of the characters. To me season 3 is the best so far of this show. I haven't finished season 4 though haha so that might change but season 1 and 2 are good and fun to watch. I'm glad you seem like you're enjoying it definitely keep an open mind though! That's the key to this show.

Excited for you to go in this journey with Korra

Yay!!! Excited for you to go on the Korra journey. It is a different show than ATLA but has so much of the same heart. It expands the universe and lore really well too. I think you will really enjoy it. One thing to keep in mind is that with TLOK, the creators thought they only had 1 book when they started. Then, they got the green light for book 2, and thought they would only have book 2. After book 2, they got the green light for books 3 and 4 at the same time, so that's why the 2nd half of the series feels more cohesive and the 1st half more disjointed between books. But it's still an amazing show, I hope you love it as much as we do! Also, don't worry, many of your questions will be answered as you progress through the books. Some, like why Korra was locked away for her training and not allowed to travel the world to learn like the Avatars before her, will not be answered until later books. But that makes the payoff so much more cool.

You do see some of the cast from avatar in this. Just give it time, it does get way better. And a lot of questions get answered in this show maybe not season one but 2 and 3 for sure. Plus you learn a lot of back story on other things. Don’t wanna spoil it but you’ll love this one just as much as the last one

To put a timestamp on it, it's been 70 years between The Last Airbender ending, and Korra showing up in Republic City.

Here are some thougths: When i first started watching this show, I think I was also disappointed because I had a completly different picture in my mind. I also had to except, that the story of Aang and his friends is over. If u accept that, it will be easier and you can appreciate the story of korra and the characters in it. And in case you get angry with korra because she does something stupid and compare her to aang (at least i did that the first time watching :D) , she is pretty much the opposite of aang and faces everything head on. Aang often had the mindset of an balanced monk, while korra is just a teenager. About the cars and that industrial revolution stuff: At the end of A:TLA the fire nation had tanks and air ships, so there was also some of this back in the day. Now it is just not only for war. After the war often happens an economic boom. Also with the metalbending / firebending you can speed up manufacturing processes. About the bending styles, I think it's a matter of taste if you like the "new" or the "old" style. Maybe the new style is more efficient in a fight and thats why the do it, but I dont know exactly either. The humor will come back ;) (maybe not as good as sokkas jokes because his character was just awesome :D) I also think it is really difficult at the beginnung to like the new characters, but we have to keep in mind that we had 60 episodes in A:TLA to get to love the old characters, i think it will also just take some time. (Character developement ;) :D) The stories about the OGs will be answered throughout the show ;) The loveinterest will get a little annoying sometimes but it is what it isss. I hope this clears up some things and questions, enjoy the show :)

Legend of Korra sure has some more mature topics and also less comedy, or at least not as funny as Sokka, but you will for sure like to see how deep they get into the spiritual side of the Avatar and also some diverse types of bending other than the 4 classic elements

I am, I think at the start its hard when I hear a lot of people saying theyre not as found but I really needed to see for myself because you never know how things go and everyone has their own option because they watched it themselves so after I watch it ill give my honest opinion.

Thank god for that they were with out a doubt two of my favourites so its nice to know there is some information coming!!

By the way, yes, it is Aang in the intro. It's the last 4 Avatars in their respective order: Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, Korra....... The intro for the last series showed: Master Paku, an unknown Earthbender, Azula and also Aang
