Well no matter where in the world you are, its safe to say Happy New Year and welcome to 2017! 

2016 was a pretty epic year for us all in all, seeing major progress for Shards, introducing and Greenlighting Taps of Eradine in less than a week and going on to announce the partnership with Nutaku and the release date being within sight.

We still have a lot to improve on of course. Funding is one of our major focuses for the new year, and a successful release of Shards will be a key to our long term future. Patreon support is such a massive, massive help but is only a fraction of the monthly operational costs we currently have and want to be able to sustain for all of 2017 to keep the studio going at the levels we've seen in the last 3 or 4 months of 2016.

With that in mind... does the above look familiar...? :)

Yes, Taps is officially back in development by yours truely whilst the rest of the team focus on getting Shards finished! James and I sat down over the Xmas peroid and bashed out a major improvement plan and should see a significant changes to the overall gameplay and style of game. I'll be doing a full breakdown of the improvements shortly once the New Years fun mental fog clears and some regular updates on how I'm getting on.

In the mean time, get yourself an alkaseltzer if it was a heavy one, relax and such a huge thank you for all your love and support over 2016. It is such a huge honour to have such amazing supporters, whether it be direct through Patreon or just generally keeping an eye on the project from your previous support that makes this still so much fun to be a part of.
