Ok, I'm back in business, baby!
The good news is Im officially back! Again, huge apologies for being AWOL for the last month or so. I really didnt expect James leaving to hit me mentally so hard but alas it did, and I needed something to jumpstart my juices to get me going again.
This weekend was it. I spent Saturday messing around with the Oculus Rift SDK and trying to put together a few little scenes, import some 3d ladies and generally just to really see what all the fuss is about. It wasnt great, but it was fun seeing how easy it was to work with if I ever really wanted to.
The massive plus was its really spurred me on to reassess what we've actually achieved thus far and gave me the head space to realise technologically what we've built to date is pretty damn impressive for what is now a one man army. In all honesty, and James wont begrudge me saying, but I built the entire Taps tech stack by myself and its arguably more impressive than the bitcoin exchange I cofounded at this point.
So, self flagellation aside, a bit of messing in 3d really geared me up to ust myself off, realise this is the beginning of a new dawn, and more importantly get Taps back on track.
This evening I've spent assessing the state of the current builds and importing what should have been the Isle of Man TTs first Sexy Event (given we're a Manx company I thought it was a good idea..) which should launch this Thursday all things going to plan.
We've also discussed the plan for what will become the new and improved Patreon tiers, which will be focused on new artwork, WIP and offer a lot more benefit given how unhappy Nutaku were with our Taps boosters. This should start to piece together in the next week too.
All in all it was a great exercise, and hopefully its me back on the horse. Exciting, I guess!
