It's been a long couple of weeks. Car broke down again, just in time for biking season, again. I worked 11 days consecutively at the farm with a gig in the middle so I guess I've been a little dissociated in order to take care of all of the things. While the work isn't particularly physically strenuous, it involves tracking and maintaining many systems simultaneously, isolated, in a warehouse full of hoses and fans, and is structured like a corporation despite being a small farm maintained by a handful of folks. After a few days it gets pretty exhausting in its own way. I'm reminded why I usually only work 4 days a week there. Glad to have some time to reset. I rode my bike 12 miles home into the hills for the first time this season on Saturday, and have been cleaning and reading and playing with my new reverb pedal for the past couple of days. Today I learned Sprained Ankle by Julien Baker and took a little cell phone vid to share. Happy green-up, y'all.
