Inventory Not Shared (Patreon)

This was originally included as an addon file in SCCO but I removed it due to how frequently it has to be updated. Figured it was better to be a standalone mod so it is easier to update for those that want to use it.

 

What this mod does

This mod makes most storage items in the game have an individual inventory. This means that storages that once shared inventories no longer does. So example, if you put an item in the fridge in your kitchen, then go to the fridge in your basement it won't magically be there too. Where you put the item, is where the item remains. 

What is changed

The following storage types are changed from shared to individual with this mod:

• Bookcase
• Toybox 
• Flower Arrangement Table

Inventories still shared:

The following inventory types I have left as shared.

• Fish tanks/bowls
• Pet Toy Box
• Laundry Hampers
• Medicine Station
• Fridge
• Retail Fridge

How to Install/Update

1. Go in-game, remove all items in the above storage types. Place them in your sims inventory. If you do not remove them prior to installing/updating the mod the game will delete everything in those inventories.

2. Install the mod, enjoy individual storage. 

NOTE: If you own Cottage Living you need the "Grocery Delivery Open Fix". This makes opening groceries go to the Sims Inventory and prevents an LE if you are using this mod and trying to open to the fridge. With this mod you cannot open groceries to the individual fridge, this is why this addon changes it to sim inventory. You can use the "Transfer Inventory" mod or part of SCCO to move your groceries quickly from the sim inventory.

How to Remove

1. Go in-game, remove all items in the above storage types. Place them in your sims inventory. If you do not remove them prior to installing/updating the mod the game will delete everything in those inventories.

2. Remove the mod, clear your game cache.

Updates

9/8/2021 - Updated for Spa Day refresh game patch.

9/9/2021 - Updated to fix an LE caused by the fridge individual storage preventing you from using Market Stalls. I have removed single inventory for fridge/retail fridge. It just causes way to many issues to make the fridge individual. Also removed delivery fix, since it is not needed now that fridge inventory is shared again.
