Srsly's Complete Alchemy Overhaul

I have been waiting for alchemy to be released since outdoor retreats attempt with the "herbalism" skill. As you all know, I released a mod last month to cover the basic overhaul of alchemy (Minor Alchemy Overhaul), I will be branching off from this mod to go further in-depth with my idea of what Alchemy could be.

My plans for the future of this mod is to join alchemy and herbalism. Where making potions and herbalism elixirs give exp to the alchemy skill, as well as making alchemy have it own level 10 learnable skill that can be used alongside the alchemy skill associated with the spellcaster occult.

I will also be re-working herbalism, 100%.  It will no longer be a skill for crafting elixirs. Instead, it will be more involved with gardening. Where when you research, talk, harvest, and further your knowledge about a plant you will unlock special perks and abilities.

So this means, this mod will require both Realm of Magic and Outdoor Retreat.

Over the next few months, I will be working on, and releasing this mod in stages. 


Some features going to be released this month:

  • Alchemy for Everyone - Any human or occult can do alchemy, not just spellcasters.
  • Herbalism on Cauldron - All herbalism elixirs will be able to be crafted on the ROM cauldron.
  • Herbalism Price Adjustments - Changing the Retail/Crafting Cost of all elixirs.
  • Herbalism Ingredient Adjustments - Change Ingredients required to make elixirs.
  • Magic Realm Market Stall Overhaul - Adding items available and adding sort menus.
  • Computer Shopping (Optional) - Adding alchemy/herbalism ingredients to PC purchase menus.


Coming to Srsly's Complete Cooking Overhaul 

  • More EA recipes for the Realm of Magic Cauldron
  • Adust Crafting Cost from All Recipes (Price will now be §1 per serving)
  • Adjust Retail Price for All Recipes
  • Adjust Ingredient Cost for All Recipes

Changes coming to costs for SCCO

First, I will be adjusting the crafting cost. This is the cost of the recipe as a base, weather you have the ingredients or not. This price determines how the items are sorted, so I cannot remove it or they will not be sorted properly. (Example: Chili has 3 serving sizes, without the crafting cost all sizes would cost §17. This would make the window in-game show the serving sizes out of order. So I will be changing the price per serving to §1. So you would pay §1 for single serving, §4 for medium serving, §8 for large serving, and §12 for Grand Meals. 

Next, I will be adjusting the retail price, this price will now match the restaraunt price. Which is an increased price just like it would be in real life if you had someone else prepare your food for you. 

Lastly, I will be changing some of the ingredient costs. Once the crafting cost price is adjusted, this will make some dishes to expensive/cheap. 

I also will be working on the "Ingredients Required" version of SCCO. It has been asked for since day one. But I did not want to start it until all EA recipes were finished being overhauled because it requires me to go over and change 1000's of files to make the locked version. 

I am going to try my best to have it completed with everything else listed above this month, but if not it will be here in November. 

You will have to choose if you want the "Optional Ingredient" version that SCCO comes with now, or the "Required Ingredient" version. when this time comes. 

PSA: The "Required Ingredient" version will stop EA NPC's like Butlers, Caterers, etc. from being able to make food or drinks. So if you use this version of the mod keep that in mind.
