Character Background by SpiritOfHoundingDoom: Abbi The Dane - Abbi was born in a small village on the island of Gotland, in southern Sweden, to a family of Danish bakers. Her ancestors migrated to Sweden a few generations back during a time of hardship in Denmark and opened a bakery that has since become famous for high-quality pastries with various fillings. Abbi's parents felt that the time was right to return when she was a young girl and they moved back to Copenhagen and re-opened the bakery, continuing to make their famous pastries. Abbi learned the craft from her parents and became a skilled baker in her own right. She did see one flaw in her family's business however - it was not adapted to the increasingly global flavor the public was demanding. So she set out to travel to various countries, collecting scents and flavors along the way she could use in her baking when she returned. Her journey took her, among other places, to Spain where she happened upon Zoela's vineyards and couldn't help but savor the intoxicating flavor of the fine wine that was produced there. Abbi returned home equipped with the knowledge and skill to take her baking to the next level. She inherited the family business to great success.  Abbi's bakery is now a world famous brand with branches in every major city in the world, serving delicious pastries with a worldly taste!
