Since when did Webtoons launch the German platform? I just found out today that WEBTOON Germany exists?

Didn't you mention that in a stream in 2021?🤔 I Love Yoo launched pretty early on there as well and you talked about that, if I recall correctly.

Just looked through my emails and you're right. 2021 they asked me for files and that was the last if it 😂 I never ever hear any updates from the international teams I forget they exist. They need to put in more work to increase their presence in Europe 😭

Oh definitely, there aren't many readers on the german platform..even the top Webtoons don't reach 1k likes. Whereas the spanish platform has a lot of readers (top webtoon getting 40k weekly) and then next up is french.

I mean, I hardly ever meet people who read Webtoons here in Germany but those who do read them in english. Which is better for english creators anyway, so I think that's not too bad.

I found Webtoon Germany months ago. Since I read everything in English anyway though, I quickly switched to English 😅

Oh right, I don't think there are different platforms so I'm guessing they're not separated. As far as I remember from my spanish classes most differences are in the pronunciation, so I don't think 2 separate platforms are necessary.

You could read webtoons in german for quite a while. I noticed when I got a new phone and had to reinstall the app. But since I started out in english all my coins were not available so I switched back right away. 😅 (and you have more series to read in english)
