Hi everyone!

The Big 3D printer build continues and the next step was to assemble a heated bed to go on top of the bed frame that I built in the last video.

I decided to swap the mirror for a glass as I wanted to give it better looks and also to be able to show the four squares where the different heated pads are under the plate so I can save some energy by switching on only the area that the part is going to occupy.

This build didn't come without hiccups and had to learn the hard way about half wave rectifiers, SSRs, triacs and zero crossing but in the end I managed to make it work and I think it does warm up pretty quickly.

As always happy to read your comments, thanks all!!!

Ivan this is just what we were looking for. We cannot wait to be able to purchase the plans from you & build this. Liam, Brandon & I are working on your desk top CNC build, sourcing the parts for your large CNC & just figured out we are going to have to build your large printer in order to print the parts for this printer. So we started sourcing the parts for that as well. Thank you for all that you do. We appreciate you & all of your fun projects. Liam & Tom
