BIG 3D PRINTER FROM SCRATCH (new version) (Patreon)

Hi everyone! 

After printing a few thousand hours on the previous version (working on a secret project) and finding it's weaknesses I ended up redesigning it and making a new one. I'm still having issues with the extruder/hotend so it may seem like the printer is quite bad but don't be deceived by that, where the extruder wasn't failing the print quality is amazing. The print you see in the video took 23 Hours but now it is printing way faster.

I'm gonna make a few improvements yet to this design:

4 motors on the Y axis to reduce the effect of the belts stretching and to gain some speed/quality. 

3 mm mirror (now is 5) to reduce another couple of Kg of weight on the bed. 

Tensioners for the Y axis belts.

Improved Z leveling knob. 

Spring gantry struts so they don't slide around while printing, these were installed to be able to tension the carriage wheels without the gantry beams bending from the pressure. 

And that's pretty much it, nothing critical so I'm pretty happy with it.
