I had so much more to say about Split that didn't make it into my review, so of course I had to record a commentary track for it.

In case I wasn't enough for you ungrateful bums, I am joined by another big Split fan, none other than Cobbster of Schmoes Know and The Wanger Show!

If that STILL isn't enough, not only do you need to appreciate what you have, but we also recorded a little extra commentary track for the alternate ending.

Really looking forward to your thoughts on this track. I think you'll dig it :)

PS. Did you catch me on this week's episode of The Wangers Show? http://youtu.be/XXp4Sla-0GM

PPS. I also ate burgers blindfolded on Schmoes Know last week. http://youtu.be/nmywfAOzdAE

This movies ending blew my mind in theatres, as I was 15-16 and had recently watched Signs and Unbreakable for the first time + Anyas back 2 back movies, Witch and this, made me a massive fan. My first track as a patron.

i have a lot of thoughts about this movie, but just to touch on a couple things, anya's (i already forget all the characters' names) kidnapping experience parallels her experience with her uncle, which i think actually makes some of the things you critiqued more forgivable. the "unnecessary" undressing is just kind of a mirror of what happened to her as a kid, an implication of what could happen that is supposed to make the characters and the audience nervous and uncomfortable. i think it's just an unfortunate reality of the way our culture interprets nudity that viewers see something sexual in it rather than vulnerability, i don't necessarily think the film did anything that should cause it to be interpreted incorrectly for the context. also i agree the crawling on walls was pointless, but it also mirrors the uncle crawling when they "pretend to be animals." also bonus parallels i just think are cool: the zoo being where they're held and the villain being called "the beast" mirror the "pretending to be animals" with her uncle, and when she's rescued the man gives her his jacket so she's wearing more clothes
