I had an absolute blast catching up on the first six movies, and now I could not be more excited to hit the drive-in for Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One! All I know is that Tom Cruise rides a motorcycle at one point. That's it.

Yeah you've gotta see it again, there was a couple of story moments you might’ve missed, but I totally agree about it not being as good as a few of the other films. Felt like they were just slightly holding back their best stuff for part 2

Took this as my first track in the theatre for my second viewing and was a really great way to watch it again. Honestly made me consider going to see Dial of Destiny for a second time with your commentary, but that movie is nowhere near as enjoyable as this

Ngl Eric. I LOVED IT. And maybe it’s just the joy of just seeing it but it’s at the top for me. Mainly for the peak comedy and suspense (aside from scaling the building). Although I very much understand your views and kinda agree

Off topic. But Joseph Kosinski (director of top gun maverick) has teamed up again with the writers and cinematographer of Maverick for an upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt. Once again an insanely practical production that seems like it’ll be one hell of a spectacle. I’ve never cared much for racing, but I also use to not care about fighter jets. Perhaps something to keep on the radar! The movie is currently untitled but they have started filming.
