Sequel time!!

Derick & I had a blast revisiting the first HSM movie in season 1 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series so we're excited to dive into season 2, but I'm especially excited because my favorite HSM movie is the second one! I can't wait for the summer vibes and to hear them sing all my favorite songs like Bet On It, Work This Out, and I Don't Dance!!!!!

I mean they did High School Musical in the first season, so they'll do High School Musical 2 in the second... right?

So they shot the first few episodes of the season at the beginning of 2020, but then had to break for covid. Then they picked up production for the rest of it in like February 2021, right after Drivers License. So by the time they got to this Nini viral singer plotline it was actually in response to Olivia's actual new stardom, I'd imagine

i'm sure you figured it out already, but the song at the end is an original from the beauty and the beast broadway musical

2023-04-22 15:48:35 hate how much i relate to big red. also have to say that on my first watch through of the dirty John series I related heavily to Connie Britton and Christian Slater's characters, and on subsequent viewings can now see so much of myself in Eric Bana & Amanda Peet. especially during that scene where she's telling her homelander-to-be ass son that he should just fuxk off and die over the phone
