Miles & I have been eagerly anticipating season 4 of Stranger Things, but we must admit our jaws dropped when we saw the episode runtimes. I'm sorry, the finale is two and a half hours?! What exactly are the Duff's smoking out there in the upside down???

All of our favorite characters are back, as well as Noah Schnapp, so hopefully these long ass episodes are worth it...

every couple months I come back and rewatch these with y'all and nothing consistently makes me laugh harder than the I feel you Johanna and sleeping duffer brothers bits, I laugh out loud every time

I think from what I've read this isn't even a retcon but the brothers duff planned the 4-5 season arc from the start, though idk if they just wanna look smarter by saying they planned this

I love the mirroring of 001 and 011 especially the way he kills the guard with flicking his neck exactly like 011 in season 1. Small thing, anyone with powers would probably do that but they've only shown that with them two

I had the same reactions as you guys re: Baby Eleven throughout the season - I didn't know if it was a doppelgänger small child or just really good CGI, and then I saw that "Young Eleven" was credited at the end, so I looked her up. Her name is Martie Blair, and Mille was actually in charge of directing her in her scenes. She was like Millie's own little pint-sized apprentice. I also found it funny that they have similar initials (MB & MBB). Anyways, this was a blast, I loved watching this with you guys!

Gotta say since it felt you two were still a bit "lost" on the date/year for Eleven's flashback scenes, it's not the same day with Will going missing. Remember the first episode of this season started with Brenner on September 8th 1979? Will went missing in November 6th 1983, as Nancy stated from her diary in the Upside Down. The glass was indeed broken, and it had like a small crack on the wall in the room.

watching miles make every single prediction correctly was insane to me like HOW did he see all of that??

also what's crazy is that if you look at some interviews with the cast during season one press tours, they sometimes make mentions of One being in the Upside Down and other shit like that that hadn't happened yet when asked about the lore, so even if they didn't have this exact idea planned out, they at least had the basic idea of this finale figured out. which is fucking incredible in my opinion

oh yeah i dont doubt that they considered a character called "one" when they came up with a character called "eleven" especially considering they already did an episode in season 2 with another numbered character
