I swear Eric was never a child haha. Kids want to just fit in. That’s why them wearing costumes was embarrassing. They aren’t thinking like an adult. Also on your question about “would kids want to be ghostbusters?”, absolutely they would. Especially kids their age. Ghostbusters was like an adult movie, that kids felt cool they could watch.

Mike says they’ve been planning the costume for 6 months. Halloween is on October 31st while Ghostbusters came out on June 8th, not yet six months. Ding.
