Progress - 2018 (Patreon)

I figured I'd make a summary of the year, since it's basically the last week of 2018.

Overall I'd say it was pretty good, I was able to release Come play with Cosplay, which was an important proof of concept for full scale animation releases. 

Blender is offering all the tools I need and I am only gonna get better with the software (and blender itself will have a huge update in 2019). However I've still only scraped the surface of what can be done, so there is still a lot to learn.

I also came with the concept of short movies, several sex scenes involving the same characters which then come together in a short video. I'd say that's pretty good, but still kinda feels like gif compilation. I would like to add some simple transitions or story elements, however there is always the issue that the work I put into these keeps me away from the main title.

That's also my main gripe, work on the main project always seems so slow. At the start there is a lot of work with coming up with the concept, story, creating the environments etc. This time around I am also using a different render engine and we're also trying to figure out the workflow in a team.

Right now hopefully everything should be in place, so we can start chipping away at this thing, I know I keep saying this, but I have couple of projects under my belt, so at least you know I am not talking completely out of my ass :D

So I think that's all for now, I might release a small thing on Sunday, but other than that enjoy the rest of the year :)
