i love how in the ed you can put the Kyo and Tohru pic together and it looks like he's reaching out for her from his bars (the bamboo), and how Yuki and Akito's also are parelells of each other

Oh I forgot to comment this before but the whole Haru calling Shigure "sensei" thing: basically what happened was Haru begged for Shigure to take in Yuki to live with him, and Shigure, AS A JOKE, said to Haru "I will if you call me sensei". Haru, however, still calls Shigure "sensei" to this day because Shigure got Yuki out. In all reality Shigure most likely would've gotten Yuki out whether Haru had called him sensei or not, but Haru is still honoring his promise.

This episode always gave me the impression of a plot Mark one. It seems to be a simple one but hints to so many details on the story, Yuki' development outside of his shell, Rin being protective of Haru, Tohru' traumas being hint, Kyo being there for her but also still dealing with Kagura closure. And the new OP and EP are awesome

2023-12-25 09:34:54 there's actually a podcast going deep into the symbolism of the flowers and the characyers of ED2, i'd recommend a watch after you finish season 2! also i really love the band that sings the ED, Monkey Majik, this song is a banger but they've got a bunch overall. If i remember correctly they're some foreign ex-english teachers that became singers in Japan haha

Akito's flower is the red camellia if you were still wondering. You'll understand why Akito's associated with that particular flower as the story progresses but the symbolism of flowers is always really interesting to hear about.
