Honestly, cannot fault you guys at all for being a wreck about Shigure. His plotline is like,,, the most convoluted, subtle plotline ever and is probably one of the last characters you understand in the show LMAO. So while I want to say don’t worry about him, I also want to say overanalyze and question him fully because that’s kinda what it takes to get him and his motives by the end of the series.

I loved the discussion for this episode. They did an amazing job with Kagura in this. She has a great character development and a good "closure" to her relationship. She is wild and hyped and all crazy but she is incredibly self aware and it is awesome that she is able to reflect and be very mature about this realization. Same for Kyo. He recognizing the importance of Kagura to him when they were young, thanking her for the happy moments and being very honest about their relationship shows that he also is now very self aware and mature and that allows him to comfort her while still being very direct about their future. She will still be hyped and wild since that is not just her behavior with Kyo, is part of her personality but you do see a switch and a growth similar to other characters so far. Kagura has a good zodiac mom, a bit overprotective but nothing major. But I think the best zodiac mom is Hiro's. As Momiji mentioned in the beach episode, she is an exception to the rule - not overprotective or rejective - she is just a normal lovely mom. Your discussion about Akito's role and motives and Shigure's objectives were pretty good. Shigure is a very hard to read character but very interesting to pay attention too. Very excited to see your reaction to when they can clear some of the stuff about them.
