such a simple but beautiful episode. Compared to the other arcs before it this ending really feels like a proper finale.

I've watched the live action a bunch of times now (with reactors etc) and I really did enjoy it, but the more I watch it, the more I dislike what they did with Nami and the Arlong arc. It's SO much better in the manga/anime

Adding to the difference between the LA and the anime, I do think that the anime, Luffy's decision is more emotionally driven? In the Live Action, Luffy's decision to destroy the build feels more practical. He can't defeat Arlong, but he can destroy everything he's built. Whereas in the Anime, Luffy's decision to destroy the chart room is based purely on the fact that he sees that this place represents Nami's trauma and what is symbolically tying her to the Arlong Pirates. So it feels a lot more personal, at least from my point of view.

What a wholesome episode, the pinwheel flashback is just soo wholesome, crazy how a gesture to make child Nami laugh results in brutally assaulting Momoo after Luffy got inspired to make up a move based on it.

I am glad someone brought this up, because yes exactly. This is one scene the LA just did not do right and I hope carson or Linsey brings this up in the discussion.
