EOussama

This episode highlights the extraordinary capabilities of Luffy, showcasing him as an immensely powerful force, particularly considering the early stage of his journey. Arlong, who had been a long-standing terror in the village for ten years, dominating and subduing people with ease, suddenly finds himself tossed around like a ragdoll by Luffy moments after getting back on his feet. Oda's decision to briefly shift the focus away from Luffy actually played to Arlong's advantage, as it was only in Luffy's absence that Arlong's true threat became apparent.

usopp has a long nose as a reference to pinocchio

I also like how they constantly say the East Blue is the weakest sea.

"What are you doing Luffy?!" Describes every arc in one sentence.

Mista Bones

Stop telling people this Usopp is a direct reference to Japanese Tengu. Pinnochio is also based off of this mythical creature.
