If you remember, in Skypiea people mentioned that the scene of Luffy and friends dancing around the bonfire was one of Oda's favorite panels, in the same release he said that the panel where Robin feels the ground and wipes the resin on Usopps pants is another panel in his top 3. The reason he cites for liking it so much is that it makes the world feel more real. Its such a funny little thing but I love it so much

Technically the first time we see Marie Jois is back at the end of Drum Island when Dalton has a flashback of Vivi. But the first time it was truly introduced was at the end of Jaya in the same episode where the Five Elders, Sengoku, Doflamingo, Kuma, and Whitebeard were introduced.
