Wilfrith and Grwn - Roughs - Pages 14-15 (Censored) (Patreon)

In the script, I had this as an elaborate transformation sequence on page 14, but when I started drawing it, the impact of just Grwn standing naked over him fit the spirit of the scene so much better I had to cut the transformation. I was really wringing my hands over cutting it, since so many people love to see transformations—and it’s such a very specific drawing challenge that I want to tackle again, and plan to later in the script where it flows better with the page-to-page read.

I think thing these pages are the ones I’m most excited to get to draw draw, when I finish the roughs because they’ve got an energy already at this stage that I’m totally excited for.
