Wow, that twist got us!  The story was amazingly written, although we got scared a bit thinking this was a horror film! 😅

Ellie Miller

Another great great reaction! This was a HUGE movie that summer in 1999. And we all felt like Joy did. Surprisingly, everyone kept the secret.

Thank you! We love this kind of film that isn't too predictable, and this film was unpredictable all the way!

Superbowl champions

you should watch unbreakable, same director and bruce willis too. I love your reactions! so genuine!

Alyson Addington

Ooof. I've been working on this monster of a wedding dress and I was about ready to chuck it out the window if I lost one. More. Bead. But then I decided to take a break and this is what I come back to! I'm glad you guys saw it and loved it, it was an awesome reaction and an awesome movie for me to revisit. And holy bejangles, the Exorcist is on the list for this week too O.O. My parents wouldn't let me watch that one til I was 18 lol

Marian's insistence that the ghosts have manners and act "nice" and "normal" had me lmao!!! THis was a great reaction, you two! Thanks!

mjoy4fun

ohhh nice! we are glad that you loved it! ^_^ I remember my mom (Marian typing btw) used to let me watch or do more things than other kids are allowed to do.. cuz I grew up without a father and she said ''i cannot stop you for what you like to do or watch'' so I tried to watch some nasty horror movies and I got scars for life I tell ya. now Exorcist?? ughhh what is this lifeeeeee

mjoy4fun

yeah! i mean why would ghost want to scare us all the time right? ''pss I am doing that cuz I want to see the good side of them lol'' but we are glad that u liked it!

So now you know, everyone has to watch this movie twice 😊 and then you will see, no one else ever talks to Bruce Willis' character. He wears the same clothes in every scene. He has no other patients but can hang out with Cole all day. Why did he ride the bus instead of driving? And so on...

The whole movie takes on a new aspect when you watch it the second time.

Of M Night Shyamalan's other films I like SIGNS the best.

to be honest..after we watched this... we were still in awe, we talked about the film for the rest of our day! We talked bout the many things you just mentioned like he never talked with anyone except Cole! We had to rewind some scenes to confirm it, especially the scene with Cole's mom and Malcolm sitting in the living room! The scene is really tricky, making us believe that cole's mom and Malcolm were talking. We went back to that scene and oh boy it gave us a chilly feeling because they were just sitting there not saying anything!!! 😲 This film was something else!

Tracy Frazier

The scene in the car between mother and son is one of the best on film. Two fantastic actors. It can make you feel like crying no matter how many times you see it.

mjoy4fun

it was very deep... the skeptic who becomes a believer in one scene..

Armchair Wizard

I personally agree. Signs is probably my second favorite of his films, with this one (The Sixth Sense) my favorite.
