Hello Loves.

**UPDATE, Thursday, Dec 28th @ 11:30 am!!**: 

It looks like about 35-40 of you are going to be able to meet up!!!, YAY, so let's plan, FIRST, that we will meet at MARY'S CLUB (5 NW 5th Ave - corner of 5th and Burnside - Portland, OR!) at about 3pm tomorrow - Frida Dec 29th! THEN,  SO THAT WE HAVE A MORE KIDDO-NOT-STRIPPO-FRIENDLY PLACE TO HEAD.....I've reached out to the two patrons who offered possible spaces (one of them offered her HOUSE, but that'll only work if it's super close and we ALL FIT?) and I hope they both message me back (I'm looking at you, Ghost of Earth and Annamieka!!!!). AND, for the person who recommended EarthSpace, I've sent them a DM on Instagram and an email, but it's a long shot. IF ANYONE HAS ANY LAST MINUTE IDEAS....HIT ME IN COMMENTS HERE or email michael@amandapalmer.net, we are together right now, working,

**FOR ANYONE COMING TO THE PORTLAND SHOWS, OR BERKELEY SHOW, WE ARE GONNA TAKE A GROUP PATRON PHOTO AFTER THE SHOWS! STICK BY THE STAGE AFTER WE ARE DONE AND I WILL HUSTLE OUT!!! And yes I know I still haven't posted the group shots from LA and San Diego...I've been buried. I'll post them all at the same time!!!**

I am so so tired, and just landed in Portland. The Dresden Dolls have two SUPER sold-out shows: one tomorrow (Dec 28th) and one Friday (29th), at The Alladin Theater. Then we head to Berkeley for NEW YEARS EVE (there's still a few tickets, here.).

I know I threatened a redux of the patron flash-mob/gathering from 2018 at Mary's Club....!

About 30 or so patrons came and hung out with me in the legendary Mary's Strip Club - DID YOU KNOW STRIP CLUBS IN PORTLAND ARE UNIONIZED?? - and we had a blasssst. It was many folks' first time in ANY strip club, and Mary's is such a friendly joint that, well, I felt like a very proud ex-stripper for bringing everyone into the fold so gently.

This is the kind of strip club you wanna go to, because the VIBE IS FEMINIST and the drinks are cheap :)

I'd love to do this again but I'm turning into an old woman and I gotta save my voice and get SLEEP, so the only time I could realistically do it is BEFORE THE DOLLS SHOW on Friday.

That means about 3-5pm, Friday.

Entrance to the club is FREE. You'd just need to bring one dollar bills. AND FIVES! AND TENS! They'll make change for you. There's an ATM. I got in touch with the club and they're PSYCHED to have us, whenever.

Here's the THINGS:

-IF there's more than about 50 of us, this will be too much madness. So do answer the poll if you can come.

-ANOTHER SPACE? I've been so overwhelmed this month that I havent had a chance to think about this until NOW, and we're two days away, BUT: We could try to find an alternate (quieter) space where we can just hang at talk and I could do a Q&A. I don't have any ideas! Do you? Take a look at the poll numbers - that'll tell you (about) the number of people coming. Anyone got an idea for an indoor meet-up space (it's cold and rainy!!!)? Gallery? Giant home? UU Church Basement? BDSM DUNGEON? CMONNNNN....

-We COULD HYBRID. If anyone has an idea for a meet-up space, we could meet at Mary's and then amble over to space #2 (or vice versa)

I'd need to leave around 5ish to get to soundcheck  back at the venue....but that doesn't mean you can't all keep hanging out with each other.

I'll let this post fly out to see what comes in, and I'll update you all before 5pm tomorrow. FAIR?
