The crew is slamming it.

FOR ALL of you coming to see The Dresden Dolls HERE TONIGHT (Friday, Dec 8th) in LA or TOMORROW (Saturday, Dec 9th) in San Diego:

Doors are at 7pm, the band is on around 8pm. There’s no opener.

Here’s the MERCH!!!! GET TO MERCH EARLY AND BUY STUFF / the lines will be long. Brian and I signed a TON of beautiful tour posters and there’s Fruition DD chocolate from upstate NY!!

If I am not dead I will come out and sign but probably not tonight. Gotta see how I feel.

But

Man alive THESE WEST COASTY VENUES ARE SO SEXY….and here’s the Observatory, where we are playing in San Diego tomorrow:

YUMMMMMMMMM.

OKAY SO MEETING UP

I’ve run it by the venues and here’s the plan:

AT AT THE VERY END OF THE SHOWS (around 10:30/11), the venue will clear out. COME TO THE STAGE, FRONT ROW, and wait. Gimme 5 minutes. I’ll come out, cry, love you, and grab a photo. Michael will likely be there making sure everything’s okay. Love him.

TO FIND EACH OTHER BEFORE/AT THE SHOW:

IN THE PAST, our identifying code for AFP patrons has been PLAYING-CARD THEMED! Grab a random playing card and pin it somewhere, eyeliner a club or spade on your cheek, wear a jack of diamonds in yer hat. You know how to do it. Get creative.

Patrons must love one another!!!!

If you see a patron looking lonely, make a friend.

We are a community.

We are the bessssstest

See you tonight.

MAKE A LOTTA NOISE PLEASE

By the way...we would love to see you in Tampa!

Oh dang, you still come out after the shows?? We were too tired to hang around last night (your fans are aging, Amanda!), but I did wonder if y'all still come out after the shows if folks wait for you... It makes me smile that you do. Everyone needs an Amanda hug. We loved the new songs, by the way! My partner loved the first new one you did, I am partial to the "I had a lover" song and also the Christmasy one got to me. We're so excited to see y'all making music together again. But there really is no intermission...

They did after Friday's LA show for a Patron picture. And hoped to last night in San Diego. -Len
