hallo loves.

i'm energetically shattered right now. i've been in lesvos for a week, leaving tomorrow, and i've barely sat down. what i have seen and learned here has changed my life. it feels out of context to be putting this podcast out - it feels like an eon ago...but it took a long time to put together and i'm really proud of it.

rolling stone australia are being nice and hosting the podcast on their site exclusively until tomorrow, but i'm going to officially "thing" it now. tomorrow i'll be sending you all the FULL RECORDING, plus all the songs...only patrons get that :)..and there's a little surprise piano recording waiting for you too.

Just finished listening to your Podcast. I am not a mother, but I cried. The idea of being a mother is impossibly terrifying. It's not in the cards for me, and I decided as much when I was 16. I've dealt with Mental illness, and won't visit that on any other beings, out of respect and responsibility. But you were candid and hilarious as always. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Amanda, Im an art student and im interested in animation (2d/stopmotion) and photography and I wanted to try out making like a music video to see if i like that area of work and stuff and Id totally love to do it with one of your songs. Id start in summer cause now i have exams and stuff but i can start planning it out. If the thing turns out good could I send it to you to check it out? If yes whats the easiest way for me to send it and wont get lost and youll be able to see it? (Like comment here? Email? Fb? Instagram?) And also any songs in particular that youd recomend for me doing? (Sorry for bad english and i hope you read this 😊)

♥️ Listening to this lovely thing filled up some of my insomniac 'small hours' and left me rewinding my own narrative back to the first years with my one and only child and reflecting on how much our own thoughts create our situations and how we become both so focussed down and yet expanded out by the experience. I think any deep love can break us out of the egg of self-absorption and into the greater world but a child seems to be one of the surest ways.
