i know i've been asking you to save this date for a while, HERE WE GO.....

about a year and change ago in september 2018, i wound up going (because of merch queen alex's recommendation/heads-up) an event at mirth, marvel and maud called the walthamstow rock 'n' roll book club with shirley manson, where she was in conversation with andrew trendell of NME for his "book club" events. 

i harassed shirley and it was a fantastic event in a great little space. i loved it.

Walthamstow Rock 'n' Roll Book Club presented Shirley Manson in conversation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the classic album, Version 2.0 we invited Garbage icon Shirley Manson to talk about her life, music, her band’s origins and colourful history.

Shirley will be in conversation with Andrew Trendell (News Editor, NME) followed by audience questions at a unique event in Walthamstow ahead of the bands’ two headline shows at London’s Brixton Academy.

he reviewed the album when it came out and gave it four out of five stars. (we will forgive him that one star).

we're going to try to stream the event live online for the public, fingers crossed, and if that happens we'll archive the footage for all of you patrons who can't make it.
