well HALLO cantabrigians !!!! 

we just came from CARDIFF SHINTAIDO and it was fuuuuun. just prepping for the show tonight in st. david's hall....

we are backstage, prepping the show. there's over 1,000 people coming tonight, and for my first show ever in cardiff, that feels very nice :)

this was us, just now, in cardiff....

we had our youngest practitioner...she was ONE.

(she inspired us to no end, clearly......). 

the class was a little packed in the tiny yoga room.....but still perfect. thank you all for coming out - this is SUCH A NICE WAY TO SPEND SHOW DAY INSTEAD OF LURKING IN THE VENUE ANSWERING MY EMAILS.

and the pay-what-you-want system seems to be working great. hopefully we can cover david's costs, spread the word about this crazy and amazing japanese discipline i've loved for decades, and put some money in his pocket if we do well enough. wheeeha.

TOMORROW! WE COME TO CAMBRIDGE!

we checked the weather and we got word from el british locals.....we are gonna do some shintaido OUTSIDE!!!! 

IT'S SUNDAY!!! COME ON OUT!!! even if you don't wanna practice, you can just come and picnic in the park with patrons. you can use the comments here to pick a spot and find each other, but i'd recommend meeting up at the park around 3-4pm and then either taking part in or giggling at the shintaido at 5:30. 

one note: please don't come to shintaido drunk. i mean....well. you can. but not too drunk.

if you've missed what this is all about, read HERE. basically it's an all-people-welcome beginner's class in moving your body around. bring COMFY CLOTHES...and maybe light rain gear in case it drizzles.

there’s a park called parker’s piece about a 10 minute walk from the venue (corn exchange).

we should be pretty easy to find. look for david - he'll be wearing a white outfit.

this has been working great. if you wanna come, just get me your FULL NAME and whether you want a single ticket or a pair (+1) by about 4 pm tomorrow. feel free to gift these guest list spaces to people who really want to come to the show but are too poor. we have the space. i'll check this post often and let you know that we got you.

and if YOU ARE already coming to cambridge, GROUP PHOTO WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE SHOW!!! JUST STAY IN YOUR SEATS, WE WILL DO IT IN THE HALL!!!
