GREETINGS FROM THE PIANO

heads up - i am slaving in the studio today because ... I COULD ! it’s the last day of the month and i wanted to be able to offer up one more Thing to stay on schedule, but also, i had the day open for studio work !! AND...HOLY SHIT. I HAVE A PROBLEM. i started in yesterday listening to the 300+ song submissions ... this is not only going to be a full time job for the rest of the month (i’ve only gotten to the first 65 or 70) but i am ALREADY TORN BECAUSE TOO MANY OF THEM ARE TOO GOOD AND I CANNOT PICK. i really wasn’t expecting this many songs but even with that being what it is, i wasn’t expecting them all to be THIS AMAZING. I HATE YOU AND YOU ARE MAKING MY LiFE HARD BECAUSE YOU ARE ALL TOO GOOD. 

here is neil early this morning taking a photo of me crying at how good the songs are. literally. i was crying. i was also crying because i started seeing the humans. all the humans. old humans, young humans, humans with canes, humans with braces on their teeths, humans from all over the planet ALL MAKING SONGS and i just lost my shit. this is my favorite thing that’s ever happened.  

even neil almost cried at my crying.

hearing someone write a song for the first tine.
