new years plans....FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

we chose brooklyn. i haven't done a new york new years since covering the entirety of prince's "purple rain" with the grand theft orchestra at terminal 5. that venue fit THREE THOUSAND people.

what to do this year, what to do...?

i will tell you. i've decided to team up with my best friend ever, jason webley, and do a SUPER-DUPER SMALL family-theater-style new years eve party in brooklyn, not far from our new office-loft in greenpoint.

we are calling it
"Amanda Palmer and Jason Webley's NEW YEAR’S EVE PHANTASMAGORIA" 

and we are roping in This Way to the Egress to support, they're a fantastic accordion-fronted band that opened for the dresden dolls in DC last month.

more special guests: Lacy Rose, Alaina Ferris and Kalan Sherrard (i won't even try to explain what he does, you'll just have to see).....

i'll play, jason will play, we'll play together....THINGS WILL HAPPEN. 

MIDNIGHT WILL COME AND WE WILL KISS 2017 GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE!!!! BRING ON THE NEW.

venue: the Brooklyn Bazaar .... which is a wonderful, tiny, twisty-turny venue with lots of nooks and crannies, making it perfect for theatrical hijinks.

AND....at around 6:30pm we are also offering a VIP EXPERIENCE, amanda-and-jason style, including a secret pre-show party in another location nearby the venue with fancy drinks, a gift bag full of unique items and merchandise (including the vladimir show print pictured above), and, ahem, a surprise phantasmagorical experience at some time during the evening. oh and a champagne toast at midnight. this VIP package is $150 and there are ONLY 50! grab fast.

the public ticket onsale starts tomorrow, tuesday november 21st at 10am nyc time....if there are any tickets left.
