To close out the year, let's do a stream deconstructing the latest video tomorrow!

Dec 30, 2PM ET- https://youtu.be/ZzP9Ye8EFHo

I found myself using Blender for even more shots that usual in this one.

I'll go through the scene files, take a look at what the heck I did, chat about what worked/didn't work, and just generally catch up with all of you.

Post any deep questions here, in the comments below, if you want to give me time to figure out deep, impressive answers. Otherwise, see you in the live chat!

Deep question: are there any techniques or features of Blender that you either discovered or utilized for the first time while doing this project?

My only question is one you can't answer: why do the Blender developers insist on the most complex, opaque, un-usable interface in modern software?

Having watched your videos in chronological order of uploads, I really liked your subplots and continuity with characters like Holly. It somehow reminded me of watching Dr Who or Lexx the Dark Zone. Will you ever return to this special kind of storytelling besides your main content (debunking and VFX)?

If you'd be picked up for running a show on Netflix or the like, could you handle working with a crew, e.g. handing out the editing to an editor or even not handling the VFX work by yourself and so on?

The ending loop was really good on this one! Was it done in Figure?

Marcus van der Merwe

You're absolutely correct about the illustrator frustration! I myself always resort to photoshop and then saving it in a really large format XD.
