This week I mostly worked on making the mesh for Golden Fredrika, which is now available for preview in the Toy Box, I also rebaked the light maps and made some slight visual tweaks to the showroom, finally I fixed a bug that was causing post-processing to not be turned on except for during gameplay.

I'm in the process of making Golden Fredrika's model, she is in the toy box and is able to be moved around and rotated the same as any other toy (click and drag). As mentioned in the Discord I'm attempting to make something between a Japanese Yandere and an Egyptian goddess like character. Her hair is more Japanese, while her color scheme and face are inspired by Egyptian sarcophagi: gold and blue with an Eye of Horus inspired lashes.

Because I'm not the best artist my process is highly iterative, basically trying out many different ideas and small tweaks over and over again and then evaluating what I've made the next day with fresh eyes. She should be mostly done for the haead and the body will be less detail oriented so I'm hoping to have a game ready model by next week.

I also rebaked the lightmaps so if you notice any weird lighting issues let me know and I'll attempt to address them. The main fix for remaking the lightmaps is that the stage was previously not casting a shadow so the area beneath it was lit up incorrectly. The lights next to the curtains were also not lighting them properly. I also increased the resolution of the maps and the number of samples so they should be a higher quality overall hopefully without a noticeable increase in performance requirements.
