07/09/23 Weekend Update Release Candidate 2 (Patreon)

This week I polished and fixed bugs that were still present in the release candidate from last week. This will be the public release, once I've finalized the patch notes I'll have it posted to my Twitter later today.

Fredrika's boss mode mechanics have received a slight change, she will now fly whenever a light is still off within the office. This will make her more difficult fitting of her final-ish boss status and make the mechanic much more visible.

I've also fixed a few bugs including one that would cause Fredrika to freeze in place in front of a light switch or the door to the office. The audio for Fredrika's footsteps will also no longer overlap improperly which resulted in all but her final foot step effectively being muted when she would walk fast enough.

Finally, there's a new cheat that will allow you to control the tablet with the left hand side of your keyboard. When the cheat is activated pressing Q while the tablet is up will swap the camera to the QA room, W to the stage, D to the entrance hall, Etc. The buttons are laid out to match the layout of the rooms, the only stand out is Mangle's shop that uses left shift. This quick change functionality will be part of the Helloween event I have planned once that event is added. It is a significant upgrade in the player's ability as it will let you switch rooms extremely quickly without moving the mouse to the room or waiting for the tablet to fully come up. The idea is that the increase in speed will be necessary to defeat Helloween which is intended to be the challenge in the game. After the player has beaten the event they will be able to use the quick change for regular nights.
