This week I took a break from visual elements of Goldie and started work on one of the potential rewards for completing the campaign as well as hopefully make the loading of a new night more robust from bugs.

The way night data was previously stored was in a single master object which was loaded every night. This is inefficient and was prone to bugs due to design flaws which caused the data to sometimes not be fully reset after completing a night.

The new system I'm working on is much more standardized and also ties into a reward I'm hoping to add for beating the campaign. Each night is now stored as a separate file in game code, which on top of being more robust opens up the possibility of creating custom nights.

Custom nights will let players choose bots to enable/disable as well as alternate win conditions such as looking for gifts, losing to a specific bot, or potentially no win condition for an endless mode.

I'm still working out the bugs for implementing the new approach, I'm expecting to have a build out tomorrow.

Hi, when I try to play the unreleased scene it doesn’t work, there’s just a free camera around the pizzeria and all the bots and meat sack are just standing here
