I don't know the details of the "pure comparative negligence" or "joint and several" verbiage but I'd go with the straightforward 20% of $100,000 answer in option C. Good luck, Thomas!

I don't have a law degree but I took the paralegal studies program at CCRI and RI is a state that has joint liability so I'm gonna go with C because the driver is 20% responsible. The most the passenger can get in general from both drivers is 90,000 because she was found 10% responsible.
