We're still mad about Breonna Taylor's killing, and you should be too. A juror has come forward to say that the AG misrepresented the deliberations. We're like to get the tapes soon, but as of now we don't have them. We clarify and expand on a few things from our previous Breonna episode. Andrew also does a mini dive on the disproportionate racial breakdown of our prison population.

In our main story, we talk about the blockbuster story by the NYT on Trump's tax returns. Andrew answers whether the NYT is in any legal trouble for the article, and we go into the horrifying contents of Trump's returns.

One other possible reason that the NY Times didn't display all the data from the tax forms, without directly reproducing the forms themselves: The last time someone retyped an important set of documents like this, the right-wing noise machine made the retyping itself the issue. I'm thinking of when documents surfaced showing that George W. Bush had run away from his service with the Texas Air National Guard during the Viet Nam war. The documents shown to the public had been retyped; the woman who had typed the originals vouched for their contents, but the Right ran away with the story and made it all about "forged" documents. It effectively ended Dan Rather's career as a news broadcaster. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killian_documents_controversy . -- Trump has done something similar with -- was it maybe Adam Schiff who once gave a brief, informal summary of a Trump phone call with a Ukrainian official, and Trump then accused him (relentlessly) of lying about the call, when Schiff had never claimed to be quoting from it literally?
