Dev update 6 May 2024 (Patreon)

Two things in response to some comments that have been made.

I deeply and sincerely appreciate the continued patience of my supportive Patrons. I am doing my best to get this update out as soon as possible. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning.

Just so that everyone is aware: This is not my full-time job. I have a full-time job. The writing, coding, and editing media for two games is just a hobby that takes up a lot of my time. I also have a family that I enjoy spending time with. I am trying my best not to be late, and if there is any problem, I have tried to be extremely transparent about why.

Second, I do not have control over the Discord. The old writer for In Her Own Hands  started the Discord channel. I have my own personal account and I posted from that account a couple of months ago to let people know that I would do what I could to get the account info. As of yet I have been unsuccessful. If you post there looking for me, I won't see it. If I do get the account info, I will shut the whole damn thing down. If you want to reach me, DM me here. I have no idea why someone would comment on a post here that they were going base a decision/action on whether or not they get a response on Discord.

I am not scamming anyone. When I look at some of the other popular adult game developers, they sometimes update twice a year with no complaints. This next update will be my fourth in five months. Calling me unprofessional or "scammy" is uncalled for. I didn't go silent, I just posted two weeks ago.

That said, I am very sorry to have disappointed those of you who have been patient. I have already posted more than once about the difficulties I have experienced these last two months in terms of game development. I am almost out of the woods. Thank you again for your support.
