Progress Report (Patreon)

Hey there guys and gals! Newman here with teasing aplenty and not much to show, really. Damn.

I wish I could show you guys some screens, but you know I can't, so there's one of the funniest bootlegs I've found as a second best thing. Now for the report itself:

We've been adding Gwen to combat, the script is done, scenes are slowly but surely getting done. But unfortunately, I'm not having as much time lately as I thought I would (as you know, NSFW games are only half my work day, I'm working on a comic and a fully-fledged 3D RPG game at the same time), you know, bills have to be paid and all that.

Instead of having Akanoes working for someone else's game (he's helping a couple of NSFW creators with their projects) while he waits for the art assets, we've thought he can actually start coding "The Mystery of Shagworthy's Legacy". That's right! That's the Scooby Doo game!! We have hundreds of game assets, as you know if you downloaded that pack way back then, so why not start now that I'm still making scenes and Akanoes has done all he can?

Of course, Ben X is still the priority. Whenever I finish a scene, Akanoes will return to Ben X and work on it, and as I get more time when the comic's finished, we'll focus on it entirely. But we were tired of not giving you guys something PLAYABLE, so this is a good way to do so.

I'm currently fixing some changes to the script that were done when Shagworthy was going to be a much more straightforward thing, and Akanoes is doing a character build, setting all the character dolls... but since we haven't really talked about the game much, I'll let you guys know more about the game in my next post. I hope I can get you guys excited about Shagworty as well. It's a different sort of NSFW game than Ben X is, they both have their own mechanics, but the humor is present in both, and Shaggy is a great main character.
