Just in case you didn't notice, I uploaded a version "c" earlier, but then edited the post to change it to "d" because there was a bug. If you picked up version c, you should probably pick up "d", but we'll keep the conversation in that thread.

Because in this version, all the ladies want the "D"! 😉

I saw there is an option for Laura to not fool around with other girls. Can you catch her fooling around with other girls if you don't ask her not to?

Anonymous

Do you know when there will be a another candidate ?

Shremedy

Ongoing issue (game design more that bug): the act of changing a single piece of her clothing is treated as if it was the final product -- and evaluated as such IMMEDIATELY, with attendant gain or loss of statistics (Love, Obedience, Inhibition) -- EVEN IF INTENDED AS A TRANSITIONAL STEP TO THE DESIRED CUSTOM OUTFIT AND NEVER MEANT TO GO PUBLIC. The most obvious manifestation of this occurs as follows: a girl is at roughly 750 Inhibition and Obedience, and has a Custom outfit, previously worn outside, of a skimpy top and skirt with no panties (she likes going commando). Zero wants her to instead wear panties and no skirt, something a little more daring. She has enough Obedience and Inhibition, she will wear it, that's not the problem. In Wardrobe Management (983f & 984 plain) you ask her to put panties on. She responds "I'd rather not" (regardless of whether or not Zero took her skirt off first). If you "Insist", the immediate reaction is +5 blue -5 yellow. I don't see why the player should be punished for this! I'd rather both stats were left exactly where they were! A way to finesse the stat loss is buying a bikini bottom (which isn't "panties" and avoids that whole interaction), putting those on, then swapping the equally "daring" (however that is measured) bikini bottom for panties. Players should not HAVE to take such a roundabout route to achieve an uncomplicated result! In fact, the whole immediate-feedback thing is annoying, where it doesn't punish unnecessarily, it lends itself to abuse by allowing stats to be built simply by adding and/or removing clothes, in "timeless" menu navigation! A girl should not react (via dialog or stat adjustment) to an outfit set until you actually tell her to wear it somewhere! Until that moment, you're just playing dress-up in private. To that end, having "Switch to..." (and the implied exit route that has to be accounted for) in the deeper levels of Wardrobe Management is counterproductive. In any case, why would you even WANT to Switch To a different girl while you're in the middle of unfinished business with the current girl?!

Anonymous

Hey, this was probably already answered somewhere but I missed it. What does pressing the red button do?

OniArtist

Yes. It may be kind of rare though, because a number of different conditions have to align.

OniArtist

It's for diagnostic reasons. It can't harm anything, or give you anything, but I wanted a tool in there for testing something.

OniArtist

Hmm. . . I do see your point. In this case, it's more that she decided she doesn't want to wear any panties at all, and you're insisting that she does anyway. Maybe I could at least reduce that stat shift or make it more of a one-time thing. I could also perhaps make some kind of "privacy screen," so that you could make all the clothing changes you wanted without actually seeing the results until you "locked it in." One thing I did want to avoid is a system where you could basically get them naked before they would be cool with that. Also, the "switch to" command was added specifically because it was requested, such as by people who wanted to dress up one girl and then dress up another without having to go all the way back out and in again. /shrug

I cant find the girls hooking up at all. Any tips on how it most likely occurs? Can it happen any where or just in their rooms? I have all 4 girls in a group relationship, max stats.

D0ugi3

I believe the sign is seeing lust numbers pop out of thin air in a rising fashion like normal w/o anyone on screen. I had it happen when I was messing with Rogue by locking the door to my room and waiting multiple times until her addiction level capped. Check the stats of all the girls respectively when you see it happen, make a save file first and "trial and error" move to the location you think they are in. For me it was Kitty and Laura in Kitty's room @ night.

OniArtist

Ok, it will *only* happen in their rooms, for one thing. Either of their rooms. Aside from that, 1. They need to get fairly horny, which means that the less sex you have with them (after getting them generally worked up), the more likely they are to go elsewhere, and they also need at least mid-tier Inhibition. Then they also need to be relatively compatible, so either both already in a comfortable relationship with you, or they like each other a decent amount. It's probably a bit tricky to get this to happen if they haven't been having threesomes with you for a while, but I might make more opportunities available..

I think I've done something in my game which hasn't been sorted out completely as it was working ok until a few mins ago, not sure what caused it so I'm afraid I won't be much help but I hope these tracebacks are enough.

Hey Oni, I was thinking, in the flirting menu, perhaps order them by most to least risky? some that seem harmless can be too far because they sem to be less aggressive than they are taken

I could give it a try, but in some cases, "risk" is situational, like some girls react to some actions differently than others, and they each might react differently based on their stat level at the time, like a higher-obedience girl might take something better than a higher-love girl. I'll try to keep the results more predictable though.

OniArtist

Ok, all the problems you're having seem to stem from the jumped system and Emma. I made some tweaks that should fix this problem for the next build (probably tonight), but in the meantime, if you can convince Emma to do a threesome it might clear up. ;D

not sure if this is intended... meet laura in training room for the first time, then go into shower and she's there(we talk) then go to uni square and she there in a towel saysing shes back from her mission. it didn't break anything but is was kinda funny.

So, any new news about the vote for who the new girl will be? I know they'll take time to develop. I'm just curious as to who the front runner might be currently. Regardless of who it is, I'm sure they'll be a great addition. You clearly have a lot of pride in this project, and it's showing.

OniArtist

Thanks. I will definitely have the vote within the next few weeks, we'll see if I can get another new girl out for that or we might just go with the options already on the table.
