Ok, I'm releasing a beta distribution for this one to active subscribers. Anyone who've donated anything should be getting the message about this, if you haven't received one yet, check to make sure your payment information is not bouncing or something.

Don't worry, I will be releasing the full version to the general public soon, but this is a VERY rough beta version, likely highly unbalanced and very bug prone, but I wanted to get it out there so that people could test out the various features and offer feedback. Let me know how easy/hard you find raising the various stats, what bits you like or which parts annoy you.

Things to do:

After the intro to the game, you might want to check the tutorial option available in the player room, it has more info.

Keep in mind that there is no "ending" to the game. There are various milestones you can hit, and all sorts of events to discover, but no "that's it, you're done." The idea with this is that you can keep playing with it, and as new characters get added to the game, you can unlock new interactions with that character and with the existing ones, or start a new game with that character as the focus, however you want to play it. Progression is intended to be as non-linear as possible, anything can be unlocked in any order, although some paths are intended to be more difficult than others.

Known issues:

-Some of the animations and scene transitions are pretty hinky at the moment. Expect some fixes before the final build.

-Some clothing options will not work in all poses, or clip with other clothing.

-Various stats are not well balanced, and grow too easily or too difficult.

-There are few limitations on how much you can get done in a time block, this may change.

-Plenty of UI options need to be updated to be more fancy, like a persistent inventory and stat screen button.

-Some of the backgrounds are in a very rough state, I plan to add some more feedback to them.

-Dialog still needs some tweaking, a few of the scenes are a bit lackluster and placeholdery, feel free to point out scenes that you think could have more depth to them.

I'll be mostly afk this weekend, but plan to do a quick bug-patching version sometime next week, and then spend the next month or two doing polish, correcting any errors you guys notice, tweaking the art and animation, making the overall UI more refined, etc.

Can new followers have access to the download or would they have to wait until next month when payments go through before you give them access?

OniArtist

Well, it's being sent out based on whether Patreon registered the transaction, so it would probably kick in for new patron early next month. But don't worry, that would in turn make you eligible for future similar beta releases as well.

John Michael

Great work! it's so much fun to play and I love the artwork. Are the skirt and bra which Rogue is wearing in the picture already part of the downloadable version? And is there a way to earn money?

Zera

I've downloaded it, I'll check it out a little later and let you know what I think :D

OniArtist

The skirt in the pic is the default one, just "hiked up," which is an action that happens from time to time. I might add a better way to trigger that deliberately though. The bra in that pic can be activated along with the nighty, I need to also add a way to put that in (I only just at the last minute added the standard way of getting her to put the nighty on at all). As for money, you get a daily stipend, which is the primary way of earning money, and the more you level up your character (by attending classes, danger room sessions, and studying), the more you make each day. There is also a slightly underhanded way of making a few bucks, but I'll leave that to you to figure out, if you want to go that route.

Anonymous

I'm having trouble with the download link you sent out

Anonymous

This is pretty cool so far, definitely worth the wait. I've encountered a weird infinite sex glitch every now and then though.

John Michael

Thanks for the reply! The nighty looks stunning by the way. Keep up the great work :).

Anonymous

Haven't had too much time to play around with it, but I have noticed something that I think is a bug. It seems that, after dates, I can't do anything with Rogue in her room without getting busted by Professor X. Otherwise I've been digging what I've seen.

ilego

I don't have a link

Anonymous

So how does this work if you've just started to pledge?

OniArtist

If you could describe where this occurs, it would help me figure it out, either here or in a private message.

OniArtist

Hmm, yeah that would be a bug. Prof X should not bother you in your rooms (the pervo). It's probably something about the taboo setting not resetting after the date. (and I really should add a tutorial segment about the taboo index). Just to check, it does reset after time passes, right? You're just getting busted immediately after the date?

OniArtist

Don't worry, you'll be included in the next batch after the payments start getting verified, which should happen in about a week. By then I should have worked out a lot of the annoying bugs people have been reporting to me. ;)

Anonymous

It seems to happen randomly in either my or Rogue's room, we're going at it like normal she'll cum then I'll cum and that's where it begins. Afterwards she cleans me up the game goes back to the sex an the whole thing repeats itself.

Zera

I've tried out the game and so far it's quite fun. I did notice that it was rather easy to get right to the sexy times. Additionally it seems like the sex wants to keep going. She cums, the player cums, and they can keep going for much longer than I would have expected. Not sure if this is deliberate or not. There was one time where a scene would stay up after going to the next scene. For example, one time I gave Rogue a massage (she's bent over and smiling), then after the massage was done, Rogue went back to standing but the background image was still of Rogue bent over for the massage. It wasn't until the next action that the background would change. Aside from that I didn't find any major issues at all. You're doing good.

OniArtist

Ok, I think I might have narrowed this one down. It's an issue with the system designed to allow you to both cum at relatively the same time. I should have this fixed and failsafed by the next version. In the meantime, you should at least have the "let's try something else" option to choose from.

OniArtist

Yeah, Rasheed mentioned that. I think it may have been some last minute tweaks I was doing to how orgasms work. I should get that fixed though. At the very least, if you're exhausted it will boot you back out. and thanks for pointing out the massage thing, I know what causes that and just didn't put in the right clearing mechanism, let me know if something else does that. I fully expected this version to have a lot of bugs to it, but thanks to you guys I've been able to nail down a lot of them.

Anonymous

As far as I can tell, yeah, It's just after the dates. I've also run into that "infinite sex glitch" Rasheed has been running into. If it helps, I think it has to do with Rogue's "Lust" score not decreasing enough right after climax.

OniArtist

But so basically, what's happening is that you both climax, and then it goes back into the sex cycle? I'm trying to confirm that you can "do something else" if you like, but basically the way it's meant to work in this build is, if you can climax, then you do. Then if she can climax, then she does. Either way, after that check, it's meant to kick you both out to a neutral position. That seems to be where the problem is for some reason, but I've tweaked it now so that it at least double checks that you "have it in you" to continue. For the record, each sex act is meant to end when you finish (although if you haven't taken care of Rogue she might hold it against you and it'd be a good idea to handle that too), but theoretically you can make Rogue climax dozens of times without automatically ending the encounter.

Anonymous

It's more like: She climaxes, I climax soon after, she goes to wipe my junk off, she climaxes again, I'm kicked right back into sex, which is just her climaxing repeatedly until I climax again, and the cycle repeats ad infinitum, regardless of whether or not I have stamina. So the game just gets stuck in this weird "infinite orgasm loop" until I reload a previous save. Why I'm thinking this is somehow related to the "Lust" meter is that after one of the relationship stats is maxed and the others are nearly maxed (which they could fill a bit slower, but that's just my opinion), it seems that Rogue's "Lust meter" never falls below around eighty percent. There are a few other things I've noticed as well. The more minor of the two is that, after exhausting all of Rogues stamina to the point where she refuse to engage in any further sex acts, she still gets disappointed when you try to end the session, and then continues to refuse to do anything if you cave and resume the session. The other is a seemingly random error involving the name "INT" not being defined. If you choose to ignore the error the game is still playable, but it also seems to trigger Professor X busting you for sex in what should be private areas. I can copy and paste the trackback thing for that one in another reply, if you'd like.

OniArtist

Sure, that might help. And yeah, the problem you described does seem like maybe something else, but I think i know where tyo check.

OniArtist

Ok, I think I nailed down the infinite sex bug. It basically came from an element designed to make it so that each time she climaxes, it gets easier and easier to get her to during that round. The problem, at least one of the problems, is that this value wasn't ever resetting afterwards, so she would just get stuck at 90% Lust after every climax. I'll just tune this feature down a bit. ;)

Sounds good. Here's what was in the traceback file: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. Baller. Glad I could help. We need more quality H-games, and if the beta is any indication, the full game should be exceptional.

I don't have a link

Techfire80

I enjoyed this game when it was beta so I decided to come back and see what you have done with it, looking forward to trying it out when I get the link

Know I'm a little late to the show on this one, but I just started playing V0.9, so i'm going to post all my error messages here.

Ok, thanks. The BG_player thing should be fixed by now, it was basically me trying to use the wrong reference variable for something. I hope I can come out with a new version soon, I'm like 25% done with the new animation I'm working on.
