I love this movie!!!! I think it's funny that you kept saying that Daniel looks 12 or 13.... he was actually 22 in this movie.

You so caught on to the concept behind the "slave labor" Mr. Miyagi put Daniel through :) Most of us who saw this were wondering what was going on right along with Daniel until the scene that brought it all together. Then we were all slack jawed going, "So that's what that was all about!"

You gotta watch Karate Kid 2. Personally, I say skip # 3, but definitely go on to Cobra Kai. You're already familiar with the show :)

Is anyone else having a hard time syncing up? I feel like the first 15 minutes I keep having to adjust several times because Ashleigh is so far ahead of me. Maybe it’s my settings? I’m going to try and adjust the speed on YouTube.

I watched the fourth season of CK with no idea who Terry Silver is and it made me wish I’d seen the third movie first. I’d say if you have no plans to watch CK you can leave out #3, but if you want to watch the show all three movies are necessary.

It synched perfectly with my NTSC copy. So, it isn't an issue with you using NTSC and Ashleigh using PAL, as has sometimes been the case. So, maybe you were using an edited version from one of the nation-specific or TV releases?
