I don't think she's seen Independence Day yet. As for recognizing actors I think we also need to remember she doesn't have these years of rewatching stuff that most of us have. I was thinking the same thing about her and Daryl Hannah during Roxanne. I wonder how often she actually even rewatches things given that it's now her job to watch a couple movies a week, plus she didn't grow up getting in the habit of doing so.

Love that you loved this. It’s a very blah, by the numbers rom-com for me. Cute when I saw it in the theatre, never wanted to see it again. Like my mom said, even when it comes up when she’s flicking through the channels, she’s like, “nah”.

I'm so glad you watched Sleepless. It's a great Valentines Day flick. Don't let You've Got Mail slip out of your grasp. It's a wonderful love story. You could insert some scenes from The Shop Around the Corner at the end. I doubt many of your viewers have seen the film on which You've Got Mail is based.

I know this was six months ago but I've come to tell you that you're crazy. Sleepless in Seattle is the OG Hanks/Ryan story. There is no You've Got Mail without their first being Sleepless in Seattle. ( have a good day! if you even see this lol )
