Lol, yeah, I'm not surprised that rubbed off on you, at all. Regardless, that was a lot of fun!! I'm glad the vocal minority didn't ruin the experience for you, overall. For me, this is a special film. Besides it being the one that got Winona and Johnny together, it really shows just who are the people with hearts and who aren't...and it also has Vincent Price. That is worth the time alone.

So glad you watched and gave this film a chance, one of my favorites growing up and as an adult I have a renewed appreciation for it. As an occupational therapist that works with a population with differing abilities and working towards their integration into mainstream society, I value characters like Edward in media, that showcase that individuals with handicaps, so to speak, aren’t freaks but human; and that it’s perfectly ok to be different and that everyone no matter what has value and are able to contribute to the world around them.
